EVx Low Phosphorus formula offers a low phosphorus value for cats. Low phosphorus foods may support kidney function which may help reduce the concentration of oxalate crystals. It is a common misconception that drinking an acidic drink may cause urine to be acidic, but in fact, to make the urine more acidic, a cat needs sulfur-containing amino acids, like methionine and cystine, so that the body can create acidic urine.
